We all know that stealing stuff is generally a bad idea because sooner or later you're going to get caught. But stealing from outside a police station takes the stupidity meter to brand new heights!
Adam Vale, 26, thought he would try his luck at the Gladstone Police station in Oregon USA. Adam rocks up with a mask on and bolt cutters in hand all ready to take possession of his shiny new bike.
Adam must not have noticed the security cameras outside the station. One of the officers noticed that some bloke was about to set a bike free with his bolt cutters so he just walks outside and confronts our thief. The thief Adam tries to run but as you can see the officer pins him up against the wall and pulls out a friendly taser gun!
When the officer questioned him "why are you trying to steal from the police department?" Adam refused to talk. Apparently he has a history of stealing bikes.
