In a bizarre protest against the increase in price of Big Macs at McDonald's, a man recently decided to take off his clothes and streak through the fast-food restaurant. The man, who has not been named, apparently felt that this was the only way to get his message across to the masses.
According to witnesses, the man burst into the McDonald's wearing nothing but a paper crown. He proceeded to run around the restaurant, shouting slogans about the outrageous price of Big Macs. He even managed to grab a few burgers off the counter and toss them at patrons before the police arrived.
Despite the fact that his protest was non-violent and did not cause any harm, the man was arrested by no less than four police officers. The charges against him include indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and throwing food in a public place. The man is currently being held in custody and is expected to appear in court in the near future.
While the man's protest may have seemed odd to some, he did manage to get people talking about the issue of rising fast-food prices. However, his methods were clearly misguided and unnecessary. It is safe to say that streaking through a restaurant and throwing burgers at people is not the best way to make a point.
In any case, McDonald's has not commented on the incident, but it is likely that they will not be lowering the price of Big Macs in response to this protest. It remains to be seen whether the man will be able to achieve his goal of cheaper burgers, but one thing is for sure: he has certainly made the news.
