Young Sophie Jo Riley was out shopping with her parents when she was fortunate enough to run into the jolly man with a big white beard, Santa!
Sophie couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the famous man from the North Pole in her local Walmart store in West Virginia.
"She was just sneaking around the aisle, had her back against the toys. We were behind her, and she’d put her finger up to her lips and go ‘Shh! It’s Santa!’."
The man mistaken for Father Christmas was Roger Lark and instead of crushing little Sophie's Christmas hopes and dreams, he plays along as you can see in the video.
After showing Santa her pretty nails, they discuss the cookies that will be left for Santa on Christmas Eve. She lets Santa know that he is only allowed one cookie and the rest are for the reindeer.
Perhaps Roger Lark truly is the real Santa and was in disguise in Walmart, we will never know! Either way, this video is what the spirit of Christmas is all about.
